This is not multi-level marketing, and we are not some group of so-called “entrepreneurs” who have decided it would be a great way to make money by selling franchises in something we just dreamt up in the pub! We are a successful established web design business who have operated locally in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire for a total 9 years.
Metanym was formed 6 years ago in Lincolnshire by Business Development and Marketing Manager Jon Williams after a successful career in the corporate world. He built up the company from scratch over a short period through word of mouth marketing, and in 2008 Metanym bought out a Yorkshire based competitor who had been in business for 9 years. With a large network of designers and developers, we can offer any type of website form the smallest to the most complex.
We know how to build a business from scratch
Jon Williams, Metanym’s owner and MD, built up the business from scratch. Leaving the corporate world with a few months worth of redundancy money and a burning desire to create something successful, he set about building up his portfolio and marketing the business using a series of powerful low or no-cost methods. As a Metanym Partner, you will benefit from this experience, as you are effectively doing what Jon did a few years ago, but with one MASSIVE difference – you already have a portfolio – OURS! And Jon and the team are always there to bounce ideas off and to give you support.
Our team is there to support you
We have a full team of designers and developers who will build your customers’ websites for you – you don’t need to know HTML or how to design or programme – we will do that for you. All projects are delivered quickly and efficiently, and we deal with any technical requests or support issues as well as any small edits and changes to existing customers’ websites.
You ARE Metanym
Once you have secured your customer, we will build the website. You’ll be fully in the loop, and will be the primary contact with the customer - that just makes good business sense – but you won’t have to worry that you are spending valuable time delivering projects – that is all done for you. Once the website is ready, we will help you train the customer in the use of the content management system and support any go-live arrangements. And because of our focus on networking and word of mouth as our route to market, you won’t really need to sell – there’s no cold calling if you don’t want to – the beauty of our proposition is that we know how to build a powerful local business by word of mouth alone!
National and local marketing campaigns
As well as launching your business for you with local advertising and a search engine optimised website, and giving you full training in how to make the best use of local opportunites, we will conduct national marketing and advertising campaigns. This has the benefit of creating an open door for you to push at, for example when we target a particular sector like lawyers with advertising and mailshot/emailshot campaigns, it will create an awareness of Metanym in your area so that it is easier for you to contact local prospects, but it will also lead to direct enquiries from potential customers who will passed straight to you. That goes for any other enquiries that are received at Headquarters from a prospective customer in your area, for example via our blogging or social network marketing campaigns – they are passed straight on to you.
